As a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC-) for over twenty years, I’ve worked with clients with mental health challenges in the public-school arena and private practice which included anger, depression, trauma, ADHD, and self-harm. Along with Person-Centered and Jungian Psychotherapy, such as Sand Tray, I use other modalities to meet the client where they are, holding space for them.
In 2020, I became a Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor (LPC-S) to pay forward the support and guidance I received from Janie, my supervisor, many moons ago. Through LPC-Associates (LPC-A), I continue to indirectly help clients receive better care, find hope, and heal.
At Healthy Growth Mindset you’ll get a supervisory experience designed to empower you, expand your skills, through a collaborative relationship built on ethical considerations, trust, flexibility, and a genuine commitment to your professional development. Your supervision experience will be tailored to your individual needs and goals. We'll work together to identify your strengths, address areas for growth, and develop a personalized plan to help you reach your full potential.
As an LPC-A, by joining our team, you’ll have the unparalleled opportunity to work in tandem with professionals who have extensive expertise in treating neurodivergent populations, eventually building your own client base. This unique environment will help you accelerate your professional career path, all within a supportive space which prioritizes your growth.
Call us to learn more, we look forward to hearing from you. Thanks for your consideration.
Terrie and the Team
As a Licensed Professional Counselor-Associate (LPC-A), Nationally Certified Counselor, and Certified School Counselor (CSC), I have supported middle and high school aged students for the past five years. In those years, I have supported students with anger, depression, trauma, ADHD, anxiety, emotional disturbances, self-harm, and more.
In my counseling practice, I use person-centered theory, with solution-focused techniques to help ensure clients can actively move and work towards personal growth and accomplishments. In working with clients, I firmly believe that the most effective means to support a client is ensuring genuine and authentic rapport. Rapport building is a passion I hold professionally, and hope to share that with those I work with.
With my educational background, I have supported many adolescents from a wide range of backgrounds. It is this wide variety of experiences that I cherish in my career, and hope to share with those I support.
Please do not hesitate to email me with an inquiry or follow up question!"
